The Law Society issued a press release today calling for clarity following the Setanta Insurance collapse. The President of the Law Society of Ireland, John P Shaw, expressed concern at the shock and anxiety among claimants and those holding policies with Setanta Insurance. 

The Law Society of Ireland is highlighting serious concerns about the impact of justice system cuts which have resulted in the closure of dozens of courts across the country.

The Law Society has welcomed the comprehensive report on the heads of the Children and Family Relationships Bill, published recently by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality.
