Energy & Renewables
The MacSweeney & Company Energy and Renewables Group has significant experience advising the full range of participants in the Irish energy market, including renewables generators (both solar and wind), project developers, funders, and end users.
We have a comprehensive understanding of the policies, market structures, and economics affecting the development of the Renewables sector in Ireland, most notably grid connection and the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS). Our team have witnessed the dynamic evolution of these policies and structures and we fully appreciate their political and economic interaction with the wider energy market.
We advise on the full spectrum of energy matters, including: wind; solar; battery storage; grid connection; power purchase agreements (PPAs); energy regulation; licensing; energy related commercial contracts; energy related M&A; and carbon trading contracts.
