Paul Murphy | Solicitor
Paul joined MacSweeney & Company in 2020, having completed his training with a well-established firm in Galway.
Paul holds honours Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from National University of Ireland, Galway, in addition to a Master’s Degree in Child and Family Law from University College Cork. Paul was admitted to the roll of solicitors in Ireland in 2019.
Paul works in the firm’s Private Client Department, focusing on wills, probate and the administration of estates, residential and agricultural conveyancing and personal litigation. He also advises on trusts, family partnerships and the creation of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Paul has an interest in Child Law, having volunteered as a researcher when studying at UCC. He is passionate about the Irish language and has been added to the Irish Language Register of the Law Society of Ireland, allowing him to practice through the medium of the Irish language.
Paul is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Galway Solicitors’ Bar Association.
