Anthony Moloney | Partner
Anthony is a Partner in our Commercial Property Department, having joined the firm in September 2017.
Before returning to his native Galway, Anthony was a Senior Associate with Matheson, one of Ireland’s largest commercial law firms. Anthony has also worked in-house for many years with one of Ireland’s most progressive commercial semi-state companies, Coillte (The Irish Forestry Board).
He qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Law Degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Anthony specialises in advising on all aspects of Commercial and Residential Property, Landlord and Tenant law, Construction, Commercial Contracts, Banking, Insolvency and Restructuring. He also has significant Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution experience.
Anthony has extensive experience in advising individual and corporate clients on the legal aspects of large Property and Construction projects and has advised numerous construction, global technology and pharmaceutical companies on their acquisitions and disposals in Ireland. Anthony has advised international banks and financial institutions on the lending and security requirements for Property and Construction related schemes. He also has many years’ experience advising on the Corporate Governance, Property, Commercial and Construction considerations for some of Ireland’s largest renewable energy projects.
Anthony regularly tutors students on the Conveyancing module of the Professional Practice Courses at the Law Society of Ireland.
