Sorcha is a Senior Solicitor in our Property Department, having joined the Firm in October 2012.
Sorcha holds an Honours Bachelor of Civil Law Degree from University College Dublin. Sorcha attended the Law Society of Ireland and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2006.
Sorcha specialises in advising on all aspects of Commercial and Residential Property, Banking, Insolvency and Restructuring. Sorcha’s experience includes advising on restructurings, acquisitions, disposals, financing, secured lending and property investment on behalf of corporate and individual clients, partnerships, pension investment funds as well as many national and international clients.
Sorcha also advises on all aspects of landlord and tenant law including advising commercial and retail landlords and tenants in respect of the acquisition and disposal of their leasehold interest and providing management advice to landlords, tenants and asset managers.
Sorcha advises financial institutions, liquidators and receivers in relation to enforcing security, restructuring and the management of distressed property assets.
Prior to joining MacSweeney & Company, Sorcha worked as an Associate Solicitor in a Galway based firm and also previously worked with a publicly traded company in Tokyo, Japan.
