Ronan attended National University of Ireland, Galway where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and an honours LLB Degree.
He subsequently attended the University of Edinburgh where he was awarded a first class honours Masters in Law. Ronan also studied for a period in Leiden University, The Hague, Netherlands.
Ronan is dual qualified in Ireland and New South Wales, Australia, where he has also worked for a period.
Ronan trained and worked for several years with a top-six Dublin law firm and qualified as a solicitor in 1999. Ronan has significant experience in advising on the legal aspects of large construction projects. He has advised some of Ireland's largest construction companies, most notably, the National Roads Authority.
His experience involves reviewing building agreements, agreements for leases, development deeds, consultancy agreements, subcontracts and various other construction related documents.
